The food industry takes on a wide variety of companies, from processors to distributors, to retail and restaurants. The risk are also broad in nature, and include such things as product contamination, recall & food spoilage. There are also other risk including workers compensation, business interruption, workplace violence, transportation accidents, cyber-liability, theft, and property damage. Added to this range of exposures are governmental controls that can sometimes be difficult to determine or to manage.
